Inca Geography Activity
As you know from your reading, the Inca built one of the largest empires in the world. Certainly, It was the largest in the Americas. To help you appreciate how large their empire was, for this activity you will label and color in a map of South America. Along the west coast of south America, the Inca empire covered nearly three quarters of a million square miles and was home to 12 million inhabitants. To put it in perspective, that’s about the size of America’s 13 colonies.
