Sports Report
Directions: Your team will research the ancient Greek Olympics and you will create a news segment whose aim is to teach the class why and how the Olympics developed in Greece, what sports they participated in, and its affect on the world today. Your news segment should be 5 minutes long.
As a team you should decide how you will organize your report. You may report from a news room's "sport's desk." However, at least part of your report should be delivered from the Olympic Games. You might include interviews of athletes, spectators, or both. You may also decide to cover an awards ceremony or report results of Olympic events.
